Facilities Management Operative

£13.45 per hour | Part-Time | Permanent | 4 on / 4 off rota

We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Management Operative to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a dependable and self-motivated individual who enjoys working independently and takes pride in maintaining safe and secure public spaces.

About the Role

You will carry out evening lock-up duties across local parks and public toilet facilities, helping to ensure these areas remain safe, clean, and well-managed for the community.
• Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off
• Shift length: 4 hours per shift
• Working hours: Evenings, including weekdays and weekends
• Hours may vary throughout the year depending on seasonal requirements
A work van will be provided for carrying out your duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Locking and securing parks and public facilities
• Carrying out routine checks for safety
• Reporting maintenance, safety, or security issues
• Working independently across multiple locations

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy individual
• Comfortable working alone and managing your own workload
• Ability to use a mobile phone to receive updates, record tasks, and report issues
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
• Flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends on a rota

Essential Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence (required)
