Our History
South Essex Property Service (SEPS) are the trusted provider of choice for Southend-on-Sea City Council.
Our offer contributes to the Southend 2050 Ambition; by delivering enhanced high quality services, reducing complaints, increasing productivity, bringing consistency to outcome specifications, increasing volunteering, enhancing resident engagement, delivering overall cost savings, delivering flexible staff recruitment and delivering local job opportunities.
In summary, SEPS’ services are deeply embedded and ultimately owned by the Council as one of a family of companies. SEPS subscribe to the same strong social ethics as the Council and South Essex Homes, by focussing on delivering high quality economic outcomes to clients and Council residents. Trading conditions are good and SEPS deliver strong financial returns.
Our Approach
SEPS' ways of working and approach to working, whilst firmly rooted in our public sector heritage, is more specifically sighted on individual (singular) service provision. The approach is commercial in the sense that our work is tightly focussed on the outcomes required by the client, and in this case, the residents of Southend. In essence, we bring the responsiveness, efficiency and economy mindset associated with commercial culture when delivering social goals through excellence.
