Beverley Gallacher - Director
I am the Director of Commercial Services for South Essex Property Services and have been in post for 2 and a half years. During that time we have expanded our services to include fire door maintenance and servicing. We have an excellent track record in this business area having serviced all fire doors in the 13 high rise tower blocks in Southend over the last 3 years. We are looking to expand opportunities following the new Fire Safety Act.
We currently have a number of other business lines including telephony contact centre and are currently expanding the repairs service we operate. SEPS is an excellent organisation to work for, its values are integral to the people working in the organisation, who all have a “can do attitude”
Lynsey Hurd - Business Development Manager
I joined South Essex Property Services in 2020 having previously worked for South Essex Homes for over 13 years. I oversee the new business for the organisation including arranging contracts and Service Level Agreements. I have a degree in Communications and a Postgraduate Diploma in Housing, and a keen interest in ensuring our organisation continues to be a good employer to work for, and support its employees.
I enjoy keep fit, spending time with my family and exercising with my dog.
Karen Knight - Operations Manager
I joined South Essex Property Services in 2021, having previously managed my own business. Since joining I have completed the Prince2 Practitoner qualification and have managed and implemented a variety of new and existing projects within the organisation. I enjoy working with and supporting the staff within my team and I am looking forward to being part of the expanding business.
Tony Holliday - Estate Services Manager
I started my journey in facility management specialising in caretaking and cleaning 25 years ago, initially as Caretaker for Southend-on-Sea Borough Council. Over the years I developed my career in an area I feel passionate about resulting in me becoming the Line Manager for caretaking and cleaning and picking up various other associated areas of responsibility ranging from grounds maintenance, security and maintenance teams.
I joined South Essex Property Services in 2017 to become the facilities and Estate Services Manager where I actively manage services for both South Essex Property Services and South Essex Homes .
I have a NEBOSH National employment certificate along with NEBOSH fire safety qualifications and am a technical member of ISOSH, to help ensure that health and safety is embedded in the services I manage.
I have been a gym member for the last 30 something years, have a passion for cars and enjoy spending time with my family.
Stewart Aungier - Dual Services Manager
I joined South Essex Property Services in September 2022 as Dual Services Manager at the Victoria Shopping Centre. I have 20 years of experience in the Security industry and 10 years in Management experience in dual services. I hold my NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety. I have a passion for training and staff development. I look forward establishing my self with South Essex Property Services and helping the business to develop and grow.
In my free time I volunteer at my local Rugby club where I coach one of their youth sides and their newly established ladies team.
Ashley Seymour - Maintenance Team Leader
I joined South Essex Property Services in 2020 having previously worked for South Essex Homes for 9 years.
I oversee the Maintenance Team who are tasked with the servicing of newly installed residential and communal doors both in high-rise, low-rise and sheltered units along with the servicing of the UPC windows and installing of the windows restrictors in our high-rise blocks.
We also undertake the PAT testing in our sheltered scheme units and for Castle Point Borough Council, along with overseeing and organising the handy man service.
Tony Marquis - Security and Cleaning Team Leader
I have been the Team Leader for security and cleaning ever since South Essex Property Services and Southend-on-Sea Borough Council started to work in partnership. I thoroughly enjoy the role and working with team members at both organisations.
Sarah Moran - HR Manager
I am the HR Manager for South Essex Property Services. I joined in May 2024 after 15 years of HR within the Social Housing environment. I am MCIPD qualified and have a degree in Psychology. I enjoy working with SEPS stakeholders and looking at how the HR function can support the continued growth and development of the company.
I work 3 days a week, with the rest of my time spent being a busy mum to my two young children and family dog.
