South Essex Homes are looking for a Sheltered Housing and Careline Officer to operate the UMO Enovation call handling equipment in support of CarelineSOS and to provide an on site presence at our Mendip Road office, and in Sheltered Schemes, completing H&S compliance checks, low level support and engaging with residents of the schemes.
Careline is a 24-hour emergency response centre; monitoring and supporting the residents of Southend on Sea within their Sheltered Housing Schemes, and also supporting elderly and disabled people living in their own homes within the community.
We require a caring person who has excellent ICT skills, is calm in an emergency, and who has a good telephone manner. This role includes working various shift patterns including weekends and bank holidays, and will require on site attendance at sheltered schemes during these times.
