Public Sector Challenge

On Saturday 18th January, Beverley Gallacher   Lynsey Hurd  and  Karen Knight from the SEPS team joined colleagues from Southessexhomes  and  Southend-on-Sea City Council  and across the public sector for an incredible 25km sponsored walk.

Route: Starting at Bishops Park, we crossed 16 iconic bridges, capturing photos at each one, and finished at Southwark Park in East London. Along the way, we soaked in the sights and sounds of London Town, even if we did take a wrong turn once!

Special Moments: At the finish line, we were warmly greeted by Gladiator Nitro, who presented us with medals and a well-deserved cup of "rosie" (Cockney rhyming slang for tea ).

Our highlights:

Training Triumph: All those hours of preparation paid off as we completed the walk in 4 hours and 40 minutes.

Team Spirit: A fantastic opportunity to bond, network, and work together as a team.

London's Charm: We enjoyed the stunning views and vibrant energy of our amazing capital.

A massive shout out to the incredible organisers who made this event happen!  Thank you  Public Sector Challenge   Jonathan Stephenson   Alan Richards MRICS   Public Sector Challenge  for all your hard work and efforts.
