New SEPS Team members are now CSAS Accredited
Working with Essex Police and on behalf of Local authorities, including in Basildon, where SEPS provide a Community Safety Service across the Borough, the CSAS accreditation gives our team members the power to improve community safety with targeted powers.
Our recently accredited Officers are fully vetted and will carry official identification badges endorsed by Essex Police. They will have several low-end policing powers including the powers to issue Fixed Penalty Notices where needed.

The prohibitions within our PSPO will help to make our public spaces such as our parks, open spaces, and town centres places for everyone to enjoy safely.”
